OMNE & Co. (formerly L.C. Braxton Counseling) was founded in 2013 by Dr. L. Camille Braxton, DA, LCMHCS, NCC. While working with our counselors, you will develop tools to help navigate through the complexities of life. Everyone experiences the various emotions that accompany life transitions. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, our trained counselors offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client’s individual needs. You will be able to achieve clarity, balance, and a renewed perspective through counseling. We help our clients overcome a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues through implementing various modalities of therapy. Our counseling headquarters are based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Our specialty is helping professional women achieve work-life balance, while removing the enemies of stress, anxiety, depression and grief. Many of our clients are women who have achieved corporate success and happiness by the world’s standards, but internally, they’ve suffered from depression or anxiety due to unhealthy pressure and a lack of balance. Through our nurturing approach and intuitive insight, we are able to identify the underlying issues affecting our clients and help them create personal success plans that lead to peace and prosperity.
Our founder is Dr. L. Camille Braxton, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor as designated by North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors. Our Mental Health serves as the foundation for self-efficacy, positive interpersonal relationships, resilience, and overall physical health. As a counseling professional, I recognize the vital role that mental health plays in quality of life; therefore, I strive to help clients find balance and manage stress in order to maximize their potential. I strive to help diverse populations mitigate stressful situations, life changes, confront issues related to past trauma, and foster positive relationships with others.
I provide a safe space for my clients to share their concerns and work through difficult issues. I tailor my approach to cater to the uniqueness of each individual client. I am a strong believer in the “mind, body, and spirit” connection, and I believe that my role as therapist is that of a catalyst for change. My sessions promote behavioral change through teaching mindfulness, goal setting, and promoting balance and self-awareness. I believe that positive mental health begins with learning to cope with a wide array of emotions to help navigate life’s changes and challenges.

Purpose is defined as “the reason for which something exists.” Purpose is what fuels us to progress through some of our most challenging days. We all are living in our purpose even when we can’t precisely explain what that purpose is. As a woman, I have a natural born desire to nurture and serve. That feels purposeful to me, however the mystery was how does this connect to what I wanted to be when I grew up? Reflecting on the things that I experienced while growing up, I realized that I wanted to be WHO I needed WHEN I was growing up. This “who” is someone that I was able to talk to, be vulnerable with, trust with my uncertainties and help me find my power to progress through life’s challenges. This “who” is the therapist that I can be for you.
I am confident in working with marginalized groups, understanding personally, the marginalized experience. I am available to provide counsel to anyone who has reached an impasse in life and needs help finding direction. I specialize in maternal & family struggles, relationships, anxiety and depression.
I obtained my Bachelor’s degree at North Carolina Central University in English and went on to pursue my Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Capella University. Being in the mental health world for about seven years, I have acquired experience to effectively serve those seeking mental health guidance.
A fun fact about me is that I love creating things artistically as it is therapeutic. I find it empowering to be able to create something and see the completion of my hard work in a finished product. I could not live without my cell phone!
